My HO 216 dated 1941, has only 258 pages, and doesn't include the polar navigation section. (Off on another ebay/abebooks quest.) My AFM 51-40 dated March 1955 includes several pages on the Twilight Computer. Can gl shed any light on the evolution of HO 216, AFM 51-40, and AFP 11-216. AFP 11-216 of 1 March 2001 indicates it supersedes AFM 51-40, 15 March 1983.
