Thanks to Dave, Greg and Alan for their help in locating Al Placette. I did call him, and the story is as I recounted it. Low survival rate cancer, so took off for home (Texas) post haste for surgery--disappearing like a clipper ship sailing into a New England fog bank. Fortunately he was a "success story," and is alive and well in Texas. He barely recalled his tutorials, but believes he wrote them about 15 years ago in Wordpad, hand coding the HTML. He was amazed that anyone would be looking for them after all this time, and enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame. Sadly, he has no records/copies of those files. Bill B.
