Opting for a rhumb line for this twilight zone flight (observing with a Navy MK V Bendix bubble octant through the cockpit window) :

    WP #1      56° 19' S   171° 4' W    cse 70° T  spd 605 kts.   0747 UT  1/29/2017

    WP # 1.1  41°  0' N    106° 0' W    1200  UT

    Jupiter  Hc 56° 39'  Az 358°

    Saturn  Hc 35° 49'  Az 89.2°

    WP #1.2  37° 30' S  94° 0' W   1300 UT

    Sun  Hc 16° 42'  Az 99.9°

    WP #1.3  34° 0' N   82° 0' W   1400 UT

    Sun  Hc 38° 20'  Az 86.3°

    WP #2  30° 30' S  71° 45' W   1454 UT  course change to 163° T  (162° magnetic) down the LOP

    Sun  Hc 58° 40'  Az 73.3° (LOP 163.3°)

Run down coast to Valparaiso then follow hwy 68 past Lago Penuelas lake to Santiago international airport.

    ETA 1512 UT

P.S. Cheated with smart phone for course, distance, and sight reductions. If charts available then a waypoint at Juan Fernandez Island would be useful for pre-landfall positioning.
