    I think I prefer Karo to molasses on pancakes!  Without an overlay of
    oil, the corn syrup was the only sugar solution that didn't bubble in
    the sun; I tested three or four types of molasses, high & low sulfur
    and blackstrap.  I did not test any with an oil overlay, except the
    Karo.  The oil is more reflective than the sugar solutions, at least
    that was my impression.
