Re: recommendation for slide rule ?
    From: Hewitt Schlereth

In his book, Slide Rule for the Mariner, Henry Shufeldt says a 10"
slide rule gives good results for altitudes up to 30. For altitudes
up to 60 he says a 20" rule is the way to go. He also relates that
Catalina navigators during WWII often used 10" rules.

explain with an example, using 34 for the latitude, 20 for the declination
and 14 for LHA, the same values used in my previous example with the Flat
    Bygrave, see http://www.fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx?i=107414&y=200902
