    I also did this early in the year with both the Sun around LAN and
    Venus during Meridianal Transit while the ship was at anchor.  I maxed
    out the software with 25 LOP's.  For the Sun I had 0.3' error in
    Latitude and 0.7' in Longitude.
    
    For Venus it was 0.7' error in Latitude and 0.6' error in Longitude.
    (17 sights in 45 minutes)
    
    I am quite sure that given a given course and speed the program could
    easily do the running fix calculations and the error would be
    similar.  I will have to try underway this summer.
    
    If anyone wants the data from these sites, I can post them along with
    the tabular solution.
