Here are two "time-sights" using Jupiter and the Moon LL using the modified Martelli tables. I did it the way you are supposed to, scribbled on a piece of paper...
The average of the two sights is 109º 45' E which matches well with the fix obtained by finding the intersection of the LOPs. Having done this a few times, I am thinking that a time-sight reduction is much easier than intercepts/bearings. Granted we don't have an accurate latitude until we get a meridian sight, but this is way faster... until we switch to GPS.
