Wofgang, I feel compelled to say, that I only saw the humor in what you wrote. ;-) Please continue with your style of jesting. While here, I'll poney up to this discussion and come down on the side of those who feel we should lighten up, and that if its below the topic line in a signature field, if you don't like what you see, why bother to read it. My best friend, a retired Navy RADM used to say: 1. Don't take yourself too seriously 2. Don't let the other guy know you know he's a b______ 3. Don't get into a pissing contest with a skunk Of course, the present company is excluded from all of the above. It is unfortunate, that from time to time, I fail to follow his advice. I was just trying to needle on a point that George has raised - unsuccessfully - last year. But I?ll be a good boy from now on and stop poking fun at people that have habits which aren`t to everybody`s taste. Why don't you demonstrate by example, Wolfgang... Another list member recently took the opportunity to repeat his bad habit of expressing his political opinions on the list. This is nothing but grafitti. Please, BOTH of you, and also those with politically-charged signatures, take it somewhere else. Frank E. Reed [ ] Mystic, Connecticut [X] Chicago, Illinois
