    The navigational triangle X or M?
    From: Russell Sher

    Hi here is a small, (hopefully not too annoyingly technical) question -- I
    am writing a celestial nav.training manual and just want to get a fine point
    point correct;
    In the navigational triangle I always understood it to be PZX where It was
    celestial Pole, Zenith of observer and position of the body (X). According
    to Bowditch the body's position is M and X is the parallactic angle. Should
    the three corners be abbreviated PZM then and not PZX?

    regards
    Russell
