I agree, although I believe that 'We, the Navigators' by Carl Lewis, 2nd edition, 1994, is still available. Regards, Juan J. As far as Navigation-L goes any subject on non-electronic navigation is acceptable. Even a little GPS is OK. Big problem is that the better historical navigation books are OUT-OF-PRINT. Here are my some of my favorites: The Haven Finding Art, E.G.R. Taylor, Abelard-Schuman Limited, New York, 1957. Library of Congress Card No. 57-5099. A History of Nautical Astronomy, Charles H. Cotter, Hollis & Carter Ltd. 1968, London, ISBN 370-00460-4. Any pre-1995, 2 vol. edition of Bowditch, Pub. NO. 9. The Ancient Mariners, Lionel Casson, Macmillan Co., 1959, Library of Cogress Card No. 58-12437 We The Navigators, David Lewis, The University of Hawaii, 1972, ISBN 0-8248-0229-2. The Last Navigator, Stephen D. Thomas, Henry Holt & Co., 1987, ISBN 0-8050-0096-8. Dan Hogan WA6PBY C27 "Gacha" dhhogan@verimail.com Nav-L Page: http://www.wa6pby.com
