Sorry to jump into your conversation, but I am just thinking aloud.
There are cases - such as this one - when complex threads are difficult to follow entirely with so many contributions from many of us.
So, just thinking ... would not some kind of "tree view" presentation of our post sequenced by threads - if technically achievable and otherwise acceptable - solve the difficulty experienced in keeping track of "who said what in reply to whom" ?
