    Bob, as an old slip-stick guy, I'm following along with keen interest. You can bet many others are too. I'll surely want to have one of your finished rules.

    Thanks for your affirmation on this, Gary.  It was your encouragement & help with Bygrave  - along with the contributions of others on this list - that convinced me that if one is going to do sight reduction with a stick-style slide rule , then the Bygrave equations were the most suitable ones to use.  Having come to that conclusion, I attempted to optimize the rule's design for those equations.
