Dear Peter,
Thank you very much for having taken your time to perform a sufficiently detailed computation.
We can now have a reasonably good idea of the time limitations regarding the the "validity" of a 2nd degree/parabolic fit approximation to LAN, in terms of elapsed time to/from Culmination Time.
I would assume that you also find the very same results as Andres and Kermit on this specific example by Patrick, don't you ?
