Hi Arne, I think you are wonderfully off topic with your query to this list. I don't know much about Yeoman Plotters, apart from the fact that I would like to own one, as they seem to represent a really interesting compromise between fully electronic charting and a hands on, pencil and ruler charting on paper charts! But I do know enough about them to say that I don't think you can reference a chart to a rectangular grid system with only two points , three or more are called for...I think. Mathematics tells me so?? You may get a better response in the newsgroups rec.boats.electronics , or rec.boats.cruising Lee Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Arne Steinhagen (Transas Europe GmbH)"To: Sent: Friday, July 12, 2002 8:48 PM Subject: latitude and longitude with Yeoman Chart Plotter > Hello > > I have the following problem: > I cannot referencing the chart. > > If I enter three positions with latitude and longitude I get reference error. > But if I reference a chart with two points then it works > > Anybody can help me > Best Regards > Arne
