Just for info.. British Admiralty "Small Craft Edition" charts are printed with three pre-positioned reference points for Yeoman use as per the book of words. From a practical P.O.V., following the guidance concerning closeness to the mat (not the chart) borders is vital, especially with the smaller mats.... a thickly folded chart *can* cause registration problems, particularly if folded thickly at one edge rather than the others: the puck does not have infinite powers!
