    Joe,

    The index correction adjustment screw can over time develope loose threads. Sometimes a little nailpolish on the threads is enought to tighten things up. For larger index error variation it will be necessary to snug up the horizon mirror frame screws and check each spring clip holding the horizon mirror for retenction of the mirror. The same goes for the index mirror frame and retention springs.
