It will be an astro caravan next week. I have to travel to a major centre for some laser surgery on the starboard eyeball. It will be close enough to 750 miles round trip. Take the caravan along, make an amble out of it.
I shall take the Freiberger Yachtsman along, handy little sextant, take a few sights along the way, noting the location with the GPS. Record the numbers and see how I went when I get home a few days later.
I should ask the eye surgeon to fit some graduated cross hairs to the starboard eyeball whilst he is on the job, could be useful for sights. A permanent bubble installed in the eyeball, now there is a thought.
Take it easy folks, catch up in a week or so.
