thanks everyone i was out in the shop making some little tools, and i've been able to tighten the handle without removing the index arm i'm going to be brave and unfasten the spring clips for the horizon mirror...the plate that backs the silvered half has twisted across the clear glass i'm really glad i'm not doing this at sea in a small boat __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
