I agree. Of all the apps in this category, both on Android and iOS (iPhone/iPad), this one is the best for basic star-finding. It's 'point and shoot'. I have long had a good idea of where the stars are, but I particularly enjoy seeing what stars are close to the nadir when I set my phone down on a table. That often surprises me.
