Orion and Cassiopeia are the two constellations I follow. If you have an Android smartphone, install the Google Sky Map. I find myself turning the app on during my daily free time. It has helped me memorize the spherical map of the sky in relation to my surroundings. The tilt of the earth in relation to the sky and my location took awhile for my mind to wrap around.
