    Were you able to see the spot on the other side of the Sun from Venus (there 
    may have been more, my Astra would only resolve the one)? Wondering if that 
    was a sunspot, I'm seeing several on the various live Internet feeds.

    Dave, Looks like quite a party of serious gazers.  I had just one dock 
    neighbor come over to see what I was doing being so busy with a sextant and 
    camera. I had him look through the sextant and he said that there are black 
    specks showing and that I needed to clean my scope lens ;-)Greg Rudzinski
