"A Forest of Kings, the Untold Story of the Ancient Maya" by Linda Schele and David Freidel contains many astronomical events recorded by the Maya. The table below summarizes a few of them. There are many others in the book; it's easy to dig them out because of the great index. June 11 439 Venus at eastern elongation (page 156) Jul 411 - March 412 triple conjunction Jupiter and Saturn (page 450) Nov 27 411 2nd of above (page 158) March 23 710 Venus last appearance as morning star Jupiter and Saturn conjunction and stationary (page 192) June 8 710 Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Mercury conjunction (page 192) July 23 690 Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Moon conjunction (page 256) Feb 10 822 Venus last appearance as morning star conjunction Mars and Jupiter at dawn (page 343) Page 445 gives many events particularly stationary points.
