I'll second the other recommendations for the
Astra IIIB (and in this modern age of inexpensive GPS receivers, it's
really hard to justify spending big bucks for a high-end sextant - especially
when celestial is pretty much a back-up navigation system these days, and you
consider that the extra price that you'd spend for one will buy a lot of GPS
gear).
You might want
to watch for them on EBay (seems like they pop up every couple of weeks or so).
I got mine a couple of years ago for right at $430 (including shipping) - it was
in excellent shape (a couple of small chips in the paint, but nothing affecting
the accuracy), and it also included both mirrors (full and split), a clear sight
tube, and a bubble horizon.
