Regarding the video about Cook's lunars linked here:

I posted my comments directly on the youtube page of the video --where the creator and any friends could see them publicly-- last week when John first posted this. Those of you who liked it, you may want to do the same :-). You need to sign in with a youtube account but since Google has now nearly completed its digestion of its purchase of youtube.com, I believe you can also sign in with any gmail account.

PS: And if ya can't puzzle out yon high-tech gadgetry like "youtube", here is what I wrote: "That was terrific! Charming graphics, animation, music. I was surprised Newton's head didn't make it into your little "Mount Rushmore" of great minds. :) The description of the method of lunars was right on the money. I laughed at the little "lol wtf" on the graphic of the Moon's motion. Sometimes I imagine that Halley would have used such notations in his notes on the Moon if he could have. The statistical analysis you provided of Cook's lunars was excellent. From me, you get an "A"."
