It always puzzles me when I hear folks say young people have to know so much more today-here is a good example, I bet no one would argue that the amount of knowledge it took to become a good seaman in olden times was extraordinary and certianly of no less quantity than todays seman, I think even more was required back then. What insights to "Master And Commander" this might supply.-Ken
