Wonderful Lunar Method by Sir F. Chichester addressed here before ?
    From: Antoine Couëtte
    Date: 2011 Jun 7, 08:38 -0700

    Hello to all,

Thanks to the highly appreciated courtesy from Douglas Denny - thanks again Douglas - I just learnt about a very clever Lunar Method devised by Sir Francis Chichester.

In spite of a few shortfalls, quite well identified by Mr D.H. SADLER in the enclosed article, this Method is very simple and elegant and it frees us from the traditional cumbersome "classical" Lunar computations.

    Two questions then :

1 - Has this method been already addressed within NavList, and - if so - when and where ?

2 - The use of the Chichester's Lunar Method rules out some specific configurations which can otherwise be dealt upon through Classical Conventional methods. Outside such limitations (e.g. "non meridian" Sun) quickly spotted by M. Sadler, what really puzzles me is that the Chichester's Lunar Method seems to be very powerful in the exact "magic" configuration already pointed out by Frank E. Reed (i.e. Moon and Sun @ 90° apart). Any ideas about that, Frank ?

    Best Regards to all

    Antoine M. "Kermit" Couëtte
