Yeah mine isn't all that large, about the size of a home sewing machine.  I am typically repairing what we call an "infill" which is about 6 feet wide and about 150 ft long with boltropes running along each long end.  It's impractical to move the fabric, so i move the machine instead.  The sunshade i was working on in that photo is about 30 feet square.
The real trouble is that I can't "furl" any of my canvas.  I have all 60,000 sq ft of it out at the same time.  The infills especially take a beating in the winds.

Unfortunately you do not have anything in the photo of the sewing
machine to show the scale of it. It is very large and massive. They
had it out on deck and they were repairing sails during our crossing,
just like in the olden days.
