Hi George Bourne does indeed use the word "glasses" and not "glass". I just double checked it in case I had made a transcription error. That does happen! I really had to slow down and read the characters and not the words, since the urge to correct spelling errors was very strong. I had to turn all the spell and syntax checking off, simply because it was too distracting. I do so love the way that Bourne changes the spelling of a word within the same document and sometimes even within the same sentence! For example, wire is spelled, "wire", "wier" and "wyer"; Bourne doesn't mean wire but rather a pin or nail in this context. I spent a lot of time simply reading the document, using the 'it sounds like...' method.
