IMHO, social media are "write-only" technologies -- more people saying "hey, look at me, this is what I'm doing" than people reading those posts with interest.
The younger generation may disagree...

Subject: [NavList] Who's on Facebook?
Any of you who are on Facebook, feel free to contact me at www.facebook.com/FrankEReed. I realize that for most of you, Facebook seems pretty damn stupid, and it is. But as I was explaining to someone a few days ago, sometime in the past year they bought the entire freaking planet. So I intend to use their services to see if we can drum up a little new blood for NavList among other things. I don't expect much since Facebook is an extremely "lite" activity (spelling intentional).
