Re: What is a good sextant to buy?
    From: Frank Reed

    Welcome aboard, Abdul.

For some context for everyone else, the author, Abdul Khan, explained that he has taken "an ASA celestial nav class with my yacht club here in California" and he also says that he has used (owns?) Davis Mk 15 and Mk 25 sextants. So when he's asking what sextant to buy, please consider that he's probably asking what sextant to buy next as an upgrade from the Davis plastic instruments. Maybe some of you could also suggest ways of getting maximum benefit from the Davis sextants...

Again, welcome aboard. I'm sure you'll get lots of useful advice from this group.

    Frank Reed
