I know it's a bit off-topic for watches, but I note that there are a half-dozen or more sidereal time apps for the iPhone.
I didn't download any (happy to download GHA of Aries from any number of sources rather than download another app).
Anybody know if they give the GHA of the various stars?

You are looking for a watch that has a rate that can be adjusted to keep sidereal time and these were common in the olden days. Mechanical watches have an adjustment lever that controls the spring tension on the balance wheel to change the watch's rate. I don't know if modern electronic watches can be tweaked that much.

Date: Thursday, February 16, 2012, 11:04 PMNice watch! But in my mind the most useful feature would be the GHA for Aries.I do not know on any watch that has that. If anybody knows of one please let me know since I have developed a graphic system that along with very simple equations (done in a 15$ calculator), I've been getting pretty accurate values for Hc and Zn without the use of tables. Thanks
