Not so nice! Well, I suppose it depends on the city.

Oh, they've seen them. They've seen them on the Internet, for sure. And they've probably seen them on tv, too. ;) It's a shame, but the actual act of viewing celestial objects with one's own eyes is dying out rapidly even as it becomes child's play to aim a telescope at the right star cluster or planet or nebula. I always shake my head when I see a web site announce to its readers "don't worry if you miss the eclipse... you can watch it online!" and amazingly enough, for many people that's a satisfying experience.
