    Re: Weems & Plath Sextant

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that C.Plath also made a sextant
model with the round centre frame. I seem to recall seeing one in a C.Plath
catalogue from the early 1990's. I cannot recall what model name they
assigned it. Weems and Plath, to the best of my knowledge, was the American
distributor for C.Plath, whereas an outfit from Lousiana -- the name of
which escapes me at the moment -- are the distributors for Cassens & Plath
    in North America
