    It's a fine old vessel, yes, indeed. I should explain that the references to the CWM in the class description are part of a general effort to draw attention to a three-year restoration program currently underway. The Charles W. Morgan is presently out of the water in Mystic Seaport's Restoration Shipyard with all its rigging removed. It's a big round tub of a vessel when seen out of the water like this. "Bluff-bowed" is an under-statement. But then again, these old whaling vessels were really "mother ships". The agile whaleboats did all of the hunting.
