Well, clearly we don't need 1 degree or even 5 degree accuracy. What would you say would qualify as "accurate enough"? Clearly 90 degree error is unacceptable. How about 45 degree error?? How far off would the usual 'Boy Scout' method be? Is there really even a well-specified method here?
