Most amusingly, several of the "unknowns" have the nameplates clearly visible. The slide numbers which are unknown are as follows:
#6 is a Type A7
#8 is a Model IXA
#10 is a Type A-12
#11 is an AN-5851-1
#15 is an AN-5851-1
#16 remains unknown
Mark Sudbury recently posted that he has inherited a collection of WW11 vintage bubble sextants. He sent me a set of photos showing what is available - it includes a bunch of A-10, A-12 etc. So I am posting the photos for one & all to take a look at.
Mark can be reached at marksud---net if you are interested.
