every few hours for updates.
I have Norton. Even with it and a brand new update, I got a virus yesterday. It was able to partialy idsable Norton and would not let me remove it. I had a heck of a time geting rid of it. (BTW, I found my Norton rescue disk that came with this laptop to be useless as it would not work with XP, just another word of warning to try ALL such disks before you head out into the wild blue yonder.)I do NOT scheduale Norton to update every few hours, because it has seemed to me that at most once a day is enough and I am on dial up.However, things are changing...this last one was the worst I've seen, and what really nticks me off is that when I told my ISP about it they seemed pretty uninterested.-Ken
