Re: Venus in daylight in southern latitudes

The clue is in the heading. It says "Veus in daylight". It does not say  "venus when the sun is above the horizon". Ever since Frank posted his message there has been almost  8/8ths cloud here at lat 41S. The exception was last night just before sunset. A large blue patch cleared to the west. I scanned the sky but could not see venus. It may have been too close to the sun.

As soon as the sun disappeared behind a hill venus appeared in all its bright glory!  The important point is that it was still bright daylight. I believe that I have passed Frank's challenge and will be soon receiving a chocolate fish.........
