    Should read "in parts of NZ". At 2100 19 Oct 2021 UT  at 41°S when I look on azimuth 110° all I can see  a large white mass of cloud. The sky does not look promising for the rest of the day - but the weather forecast shows  a bright yellow icon in the afternoon which is when venus will be highest. Keeping fingers crossed.......
