     Antoine,

The lunar from this image came in at -0.4' error using .0975' / pixel on the 200mm lens. Far limb distance 1°50.0'

Venus phase 56.7% with diameter at 0.4'

Attached: Reed calculator data, Calsky image, and 200mm lens Venus image zoomed.

The photographer at Calsky has done a better job on the camera hold ;-)

    Superb Picture Greg,

Although Venus is somewhat gibbous on that one, how about a pixel count to get a Lunar Distance between Venus Center of Light (or its Best approximation) or Venus center (or its Best Approximation) to the opposite Moon limb ?

If so, please indicate Day, UT, and Position, including Obervers's Altitude if you can.

I know that I am asking a lot, but whoever requests nothing might get no extra, while whoever requests much might even get more !

    Best Friendly Regards

    Well Done again,

    Kermit

    Antoine M. "Kermit" Couëtte
