    I was able to capture a Contact image


    Would this have been the first contact of the lit portion of Venus's disk?  That's probably pretty close to the geometric center (since you did give the lunar distance as exactly zero), but the terminator is not quite centered on the planetary disk nor perfectly sharp (compared to the limb).  I'm just wondering what might account for some of the 0.2 arcminute error.  "Second contact", just as Venus disappears, might be a little better for this kind of thing, and then the lunar distance would be negative to the tune of Venus's semidiameter.
