Hi folks, yes I was fortunate quite spectacular here in Hacienda Heights,Ca about a few miles East of LA. Unfortunately I had the wrong instrument i.e. an electric bass guitar. There have been times I have used break time for Lunars. As for advice take your time, graph your sites, obtain "line of best fit". It would be so cool if you had an assistant with a bubble sextant for Hs. Good luck and have fun!

In Middletown Maryland we had crystal clear skies and again tonight. I am acutally going to attempt a lunar tomorrow night. Anyone have any advice for a land locked person.

No, fairly solid cloud cover here obstructed our view. However, others not so far away (as well as others much further away) had better luck, as evidenced by the series of photos here:
