Responding to my difficulties with documentation for Calc, Dan Allen
    hepfully wrote-
    "Have you seen this?
    or this?
This latter document is 49 pages about the functions, a 600 KB download.
I will admit that OpenOffice has a long way to go on its
documentation. I think if you are really interesting I would read
through the source code, which is available but is hundreds of MB in
    size, compressed."
Thanks, Dan. The source code would be quite beyond me, but those two web
documents (and particularly the second one, on functions) are more useful
    than what I've seen before.
They are parts of a bigger document on Calc, all available for free
download, in keeping with the open spirit of Open Office.
I see that documents covering many aspects of Open Office are also available
in printed form, which seem to be printed on request by an Australian outfit
called Lulu, at reasonable prices. What I would like to have is a printed
version of that Calc documentation printed out in the same way, but alas!
Calc doesn't seem to feature in the list. I live in hope that some day it
Thanks for the help from so many participants.
