Looking for a used, not abused, metal sextant in the box it came in - with 000's across the board. Not much money - dealing with the $.50Canadian Dollar - but you can be sure that it will be cared for and used for the purpose it was intended. Would like feed back on the Davis Mk 25 or equivalent - other than melting in the hot sun. Is there any significant difference taking a sight on the deck of a pitching 35 foot sailboat with a plastic sextant over a shiny metal one.
