    I fully agree with your own Venus/Mars result on Feb 22nd, 2023 obtained from Solar Experiment [SOLEX] which is an outstandingly amazing Solar Planetary System software package.

    For your Venus/Mars "closest approach on 1 July, 7h 6m 39s TT, [with] the angular distance [being] 3.571°I compute a geocentric center to center result equal to (12,836 +/- 6) ", which is significantly different - by some 20" - from your 3.571° value at 12,856". How can you explain such a difference for this second example - well outside round-off errors - while in the first example both our results are in such a close agreement ?
