Thanks for the Cape Feet info. Dan -- If one visits the city centre of Johannesburg, you will notice that a few of the roads do an awkward dog-leg in and out of the area - apparently this is because one surveyor was working in English feet and one surveyor was working in Cape feet at the same time. While we're at it - how much is a league?
