    And while we're at it, you can also get almanac data from my web app. Go here and select Online Nautical Almanac. You should find fairly exact matches with the USNO version. Finally, don't forget that you can use a source like Stellarium to simulate the sky from any location and in any era (outside the historical era there are some issues, but clearly for navigation problems, no worries). There used to be inaccuracies in the refraction model in Stellarium, oddly enough at intermediate altitudes, but I believe those are now resolved. I recommend checking a couple of test cases whenever using Stellarium since in a group project like this, entropy is a problem.
