    Hello Yves,

My result for Sun / Moon:
    Lat: S 25d 26.1'
    Lon: E 176d 51.1'
    agrees with everyone.

My result for Acrux / Diphda / Jupiter:
    Lat: S 25d 08.4'
    Lon: E 178d 44.6'
    agrees with Antoine's.
I believe that your result in this case is a little different due to the value of Acrux declination, which should be: S 63d 10.5'.

    Cheers,

    Peter Hakel

    Hello Greg,
Using ASTROLAB with your data (plus ACRUX Dec = 63° 5.94'S), I got the following results :
    DIPHDA + ACRUX + JUPITER : 25° 10.2'S 178° 40.9'E, radius = 0.15 NM
    MOON + SUN (5 hours later): 25° 26.1'S 176° 51'E
    5 sights with transport : 25° 28.5'S 176° 54.6'E, radius = 2.2 NM (!)
The last line integrates a shift of near 94 NM between Jupiter and Moon sights !
DOP is 1.9 for the 3 first sights, and is reduced to 1.4 for 5 sights.
    Regards,
    Yves Robin-Jouan
