Hi folks,speaking of Polaris does the online Nautical Almanac have provisions for reducing Polaris? Thanks much.

I pulled the Dutton's off my bookshelf (dusted copiously :-) and it is a 1969 edition which has sight reduction forms designed for Pub 214 :( What I did find was a form for reducing Polaris by Nautical Almanac (see attached) which may be useful for the USCG sample problem # 1.

Dutton's Navigation and Piloting has an appendix "The Complete Celestial Solution Using HO229" which includes a form, using planets, moon, sun and stars.
The form also includes double second corrections.
Perhaps you have a copy on your bookshelf.
