I can’t help noticing that 1940s HO218 uses the term 'Astronomical Navigation', but almost all contributors to this site use the term 'Celestial Navigation'. Which term was used first, and when and where did the split occur? It's no good looking at Lecky. He, bless him, calls it 'Sky Pilotage' DaveP
